‘Exchange Comms approached us to analyse our Telecom bills which had always been with BT. I was cautious to do this as we know BT and didn’t think to look elsewhere.

I emailed a bill over with no expectations and thought what would be the harm. I have to say with savings totalling £72,000 over the whole contract I couldn’t ignore the figures.

Exchange comms have dealt with all of the process from start to finish: from provisioning the lines, terminating old contracts and organising engineers.

Our new billing is a lot simpler and if we ever have any questions we get through to Exchange Comms everytime and get an answer. 

The only bad thing from all of this is I wish we had done this sooner!

After a somewhat fraught and, ultimately, futile attempt to get one of the bigger telecoms companies to install a new telephone system in our care home, we turned to Exchange Communications. They listened to what we wanted, specified the equipment we needed and tested it, prior to the main installation, to prove that it would meet our requirements.

The installation itself went smoothly and, although we’ve not had much call on their after-sales support which is always a good sign, the help provided has always been prompt, professional, polite and effective.

We recently needed to upgrade our telephone system and decided that we wanted a system that would be managed through The Cloud.  We looked at a number of companies and chose Exchange Communications because as well as their pricing being competitive, we were impressed by their professionalism and expertise, and being a local company, we felt confident of their ability to offer us a very personal service and respond quickly should they need to come to our site.

We found them to be friendly and helpful throughout the installation process and although there were a few teething problems, these were resolved quickly and competently. Exchange Communications made the upgrade process very easy and there was little if any disruption to our business.

We now have access to a web portal where we can make any simple changes such as call forwarding, name changes, or do not disturb on all phones and have paired our landline numbers with our mobiles, which ensures that we never miss a call when out of the office and means that we no longer pay to accept an incoming call when out of the country. For a small monthly fee, we’ve also been able to install an app on our mobiles so that when using wifi we can make free of charge UK calls, no matter where we are in the world. These features have really helped us from a business point of view as we have a lot more control of our phone system. In the event of a disaster it’s also reassuring to know that our phone traffic can be quickly and easily diverted to another location.

We are now paying less than we were before, have a much more flexible system and couldn’t be happier with our decision. I would recommend Exchange Communications to any company - large or small, that wants to review their current telecoms provision. Their support has been second to none.

We needed a flexible new telephone system to link our offices as our old one was very restricted functionally and quite difficult to manage.  Exchange Communications supplied us with 4 x SV8100 system, 8 x ISDN2 Lines, 8 x ISDN30 lines and 74 x Handsets.  Now all our staff and volunteers have their own Direct Dial number and voicemail.  From an IT perspective it is very simple to manage.

The system works really well and the support we get from Exchange Communications is second to none.  The few faults we have had have been resolved in minutes rather than hours and reconfiguration is simple.

The Helpdesk staff are very friendly and will pull out all the stops to help.  What’s more, Exchange Communications are supporting our charity in lots of other ways too.  I have no hesitation in recommending them.
